YourArchive, the World’s First Social Archive®

YourArchive Limited, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new digital archiving product. YourArchive is a web application that provides an innovative way to store, organise, share, and enjoy all sorts of content.

With digital material being accumulated at a phenomenal rate, tracking its content, and the people in it, presents a major challenge.

If you mention archiving, images of dusty rooms full of boxes of old documents comes to mind. If you talk about digital archiving, multiple software products are available, but their focus is on gathering digital content to control its distribution and sell it.

YourArchive introduces social archiving…the concept of gathering material to store it, but also presenting it to users in an engaging way, encouraging interaction, commenting and feedback and driving further interest in the archive.

Founded by David Richmond, a serial software entrepreneur, the motivation behind the solution was his family photograph collection and the work he was doing with his old school alumni organisation. In both scenarios large amounts of material were held in multiple physical locations, totally unstructured, but with a lot of interest in digitising it, such that it was not only stored safely for future generations but that it was also generally available to a non-archivist audience.

So, the concept of the social archive® was born. The idea that one could not only digitise vast amounts of material and store it once in the cloud for security and protection, but then use smart tagging and presentation to take what might be remarkably diverse content and provide fascinating insight to multiple different audiences quickly. All whilst retaining complete control of the content.

Designed to be used by anyone, not just technical experts, YourArchive provides the fastest and simplest way to store, organise, and present your material to bring it to life.

Start saving yesterday for tomorrow® by uploading your content into YourArchive.
