YourArchive System Update - 5/11/21

We are pleased to announce that our latest update to the platform has now been rolled out. Please see below a summary of the elements included: 

 General updates:

• Enhancements to content filtering, allowing faster and easier creation of galleries.

• Addition of "Show Content" to the people tag management screen for a quick view of what content you have someone tagged in.

• Ability to bulk tag people in content across folders for faster organisation.

• Improvements to gallery comments functionality.

• Improvements to virus scanning functionality on content upload for faster loading.

•  General enhancements and bug fixes.

Organisational updates:

• Organisational galleries now have a table of contents, enabling users to quickly find individual pieces of content.

• Organisations now have the option to publish their own home page, listing all published galleries along with custom links and summary, this can be made visible to non-registered users providing a ‘shop window’ for the archive.

• Institutional galleries now include a link back to the homepage if this is active.

• Option for guest content upload, allowing organisations to receive contributions of content directly from users which can then be assessed before acceptance into the archive.

• Organisational galleries now show a link to the submission upload screen where that functionality has been switched on.

• Additional data and fields added to the ‘gallery stats’ page for tracking engagement through both views and comments.
